Dua Lipa was born on 22 August, 1995 London. She is the daughter of Kosovo Albanians Anesa Laxha, and Dukagjin lipa. Her parents are of Bosnian descent via her mother's grandmother. Additionally, her ancestors are from Peja, which is a Kosovo town of Peja. The Lipa's grandparents are historians. Gjin and Rina are her twins. Lipa was heavily influenced by music by her father, who was the guitar player and lead singer of the Kosovan rock band Oda.
