Lis Wiehl works as an American journalist and legal analyst who previously worked as a Fox News analyst.
She currently serves as an adjunct professor of law in New York Law School. Prior to that she was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor and National Public Radio. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning programs as well as hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl she was born and grew up in Yakima within Washington State, matriculated in Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She holds a qualification of Barnard College (1983), a Masters of Arts in Literary Studies from University of Queensland (1985), and she earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl was previously an US Attorney. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues for NPR's All Things Considered. She worked as the assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 until 2001. She was the director of the school's Trial Advocacy Program. She worked as an analyst for Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
